Volunteer positions are vital to our day-to-day efficient and effective functioning. Each role is part of established committees and new leaders will receive lots of support and guidance from the outgoing chairs, the rest of the team, and the Board.

We'll be meeting at the Barnegat Library on the third Tuesday, next one
March 17th, from 1-3pm, and at the Tuckerton Library on the first
Tuesday, next one April 7th, from 1-3pm

President Linda Saladino…
Is anyone like me? I find myself with artist block. I want to paint but just don't know what I want to paint. I love to paint scenes from our travel photos, but since June 2024 we haven't been able to travel, so that is out. But now, I have hope that I will be inspired. March has arrived which means the promise of Spring, and it can't come too soon. Days will start staying lighter longer and the weather should improve.
It's a good time to sign up for classes, and the Education Committee has a variety of workshops to choose from. Take advantage of classes offered and enjoy. Speaking of classes, try to attend the Student Show reception on March 15th at Stafford. The work exhibited is outstanding. It just gets better every year. Don't miss it. On March 22nd is another reception for the four featured artists in Tuckerton. Another beautiful show. I look forward to seeing our members then.
I leave you with a quote I like from Pablo Picasso: "Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life". With this winter, let our art wash away the snow! Stay well.
